Melancholy Tide is an original watercolour seascape born from those moments. I am constantly drawn to painting dark, moody atmospheres, and this piece captures the exact feeling of watching a heavy, stormy sky roll over the restless tide.
There is a specific local beach I love to visit at the end of the day, where the weather turns and the scenery becomes wonderfully dramatic.
 
The painting was created in a very interesting size of landscape quite longer than high 20cm x 40cm. Watercolour paper with high quality of 300gs acid free.
