The Story Behind the Art: This piece was started plein air—painted directly on the shoreline of Bexhill beach. Working outdoors allowed me to capture the true, calm spirit of the hazy horizon and the soft light reflecting off the shallow coastal water. Back in the studio, I finished the painting by adding my own signature dramatic touch. By intensifying the dark textures of the emerging rocks against the soft sand and sea, I turned a quiet beach view into an emotional, moody masterpiece.
